Have used them to remodel a batheroom and a kitchen. Found them to be responsive and attentive to our needs. We needed the areas to be wheelchair accessible and they worked with us to achieve our goals. Finished ahead of schedule. *****
Like any remodel we had some surprises but LBJ came up with solutions. We have referred them to many friends and all have been very satisfied. We use their Handyman services frequently too. *****
LBJ did my kitchen and den remodel for me. Jason was the project manager and worked very hard to meet with me weekly despite my hectic work schedule. The attention to detail was superb and they helped solve problems long after the project was finished. You can't go wrong with LBJ!*****
I want to remodel my home? Where do I start?
Meet with a builder first. You will want to discuss floor plans, square footage, design, budget and timeline. After this, an architect will be brought to the table to develop house plans.
Where do you operate, and what areas does LBJ Construction serve?
We are located at 5438 Guhn Rd. Houston TX 77040, and we serve the areas listed below.
West University, River Oaks, Memorial, Heights, Montrose, Galleria, Bellaire, Tanglewood, Piney Point, Hunters Creek, Bunker Hill, Hedwig Village, Rice Village, Medical Center, Midtown, Museum District ,Braeswood, Braes Heights, South Hampton, Meyerland, Spring Valley, Aryshire, South Gate
How do I get a remodeling project started with LBJ Construction?
Simply give us a call or fill out a contact form on our website and to get scheduled for a consultation.
Do I need to have design ideas before I start the renovation process?
Who will manage my remodeling project? Will they be available to answer my questions? Will they be on the job site regularly?
One of our professional project managers will be assigned to your build and they would be your main point of contact. With the use of modern technology and our project management system, Co-Construct, we will be there to help guide you every step of the way. In fact, through the use of this technology, you will be able to see project updates, request changes, make selection updates, and have direct communication with our team in one easy to use platform. You can even view 360° images of your renovation project!
I need to stay in budget for my remodeling project. Can LBJ Construction work within that budget and help me maintain it?
How do I know if I need an architect?
Once I signed my contract, how long will it take to begin work?
There are many factors that can contribute to the start of your project. Permitting, outside vendors, partnering architects and designers, and even the weather can delay the start of work on your project. An estimated time frame of beginning your project is 1-3 weeks after signing.
Who will take care of securing permits for my remodeling project?
Either our permit runner or our project managers will handle gathering all of the needed permits for your project.
How can I prepare my home for the project?
Can I live in my home during my renovation project?
Can I leave my belongings in my home during the renovation?
Yes, but we recommend removing everything possible in the area we are working in. If certain pieces of furniture or fixtures need to stay in the area, we will carry out our procedures to protect the remaining items.
What measures and procedures will be taken to protect my home from dust and debris that result from construction?
We cover floors, tape off areas with plastic sheets, and cover remaining furniture to ensure they are protected from the debris of the project.
